Prunus avium bigarreau Moreau or Cherry tree bigarreau Moreau is a fruit tree that is both ornamental and productive, it is an old variety of medium vigor producing fleshy, crunchy and sweet cherries. The fruits are medium to large (2 cm), with dark red, almost black skin that are very resistant to bursting. Their dark red flesh is firm, juicy and deliciously sweet, making them a treat for cherry lovers. They are perfect for fresh consumption, but can also be used in the preparation of jams, pies and desserts.
