Présentation détaillée

Tricolor Asiatic Jasmine, a ground cover with changing nuances.

Originally from Southeast Asia, Trachelospermum Asiaticum Tricolor is a dwarf climbing plant that derives its originality from its foliage. The color of its leaves changes during the seasons, the young shoots are pink, then white and finally green variegated with white. In autumn, they take on a beautiful purple hue. Its flowers, rare and discreet, cream-colored, appear from the month of June and last until September. They fully reveal their light fragrance in summer.

The Tricolor Asiatic Jasmine grows relatively slowly, reaching a maximum height of 0.60 m to 1 m for 0.80 m to 1.5 m width. It is perfect for ground cover or planters. More resistant to cold than jasmine, Trachelospermum Asiaticum Tricolor is resistant to temperatures of -12 ° to -15 ° C. He likes a situation in the sun or in partial shade, in any type of soil, well drained and very fresh. After flowering, you only have to shorten the shoots by one third and eliminate the stems having bloomed.

Install Trachelospermum Asiaticum Tricolor in your beds and imagine, as soon as spring arrives, this carpet of pink, white and green leaves. A real treat for your eyes!
