Pink star jasmine has evergreen foliage that turns very dark purple in winter. Its brilliant green leaves contrast beautifully with the pearly and subtle pink of its abundant helix-shaped flowers. Its deliciously scented flowering lasts from May to August.
The Trachelospermum jasminoides Star of Sicily enjoys a sunny location in partial shade. A slight pruning after flowering allows it to equalize its forms and to control its growth. Cultivation of Pink Star Jasmine in pots is possible if it has a support to which it can be attached and is planted in well-drained soil.
Its stems weave with agility along a wooden arbour to shade a terrace or, against a trellis, to create a magnificent screening effect. Used as a ground cover, it delimits an aisle with elegance.
