Indeed, in January and February, it offers a magical spectacle when its bare twigs are covered with bright yellow flowers, delicately scented, with slender and wavy petals, similar to spiders. Then appear the leaves of a beautiful pure green which adorn themselves in the fall of a magnificent orange-yellow colour turning to flamboyant red.
The Ripe Corn Witch Hazel, with a flared port and slow growth, reaches 3 m in height for a spread of 3 m at maturity, it is perfectly suited to small spaces.
