Description
The Okamé Japanese cherry is a small flowering tree, from the end of March to the beginning of April a multitude of bright pink flowers generously cover the entire tree in spectacular ways, thus showing that spring is present in the garden, the young bronze foliage Okamé Japanese cherry appears just after flowering, it will become bright green in summer and red-orange for autumn decoration.
Culture:
The Okamé Japanese cherry "Prunus Okamé" is not difficult concerning the nature of the soil, nevertheless it is best to place it in a sunny position to promote flowering, this small tree does not exceed 4 meters high and does not need to be pruned, just remove in the winter any dead branches.
