This beautiful deciduous , rustic and fast growing tree often lives centenary. It attracts several types of small passerines fond of its grains, as the Siskin of Alders, the Common Redpoll and many others.

Ideal for wet grounds or slopes. It is often used to support the riversides, because its rooting are deep and dense.
