The Metasequoia glyptostroboides Gold Rush, a luminous conifer.
Magnificent deciduous conifer native to China, the Metasequoia glyptostroboides Gold Rush or Gold Rush Dawn Redwood owes its originality to the delicacy of its particularly luminous foliage resembling that of a fern. Interesting in all seasons, you will appreciate in spring the light yellow color of its foliage evolving towards golden yellow in summer then towards orange-brown in autumn, in winter, you will discover its remarkable graphic bark, deeply cracked, suggesting red brown tones.
Slower growing than the type species, the Metasequoia glyptostroboides Gold Rush, with a conical and regular habit, reaches 10 to 15 m in height and 4 to 7 m in width. It is suitable for medium sized spaces.
