Description
The holly (ilex aquifolium J.C Van Tol) is a shrub with evergreens foliage with the characteristic of having virtually no sharpness on its leaves.
Holly J.C. Van Tol is self fertile and fructifies generously large decorative red berries from September to March, they come decorate our gardens by bringing a touch of color during the winter.
The shrub prefers a semi-shade location in a soil rich in moist humus, without being demanding, its growth is rather slow, but it will reach 5 to 6 m height after several years if it is not cut .
The use of Holly J.C. Van Tol is isolated or incorporated in a hedge.
