The Rhododendron Apricot Nectar is an evergreen shrub. At a height of 0.90 m, this hybrid has a very decorative dark green foliage. The cultivar is also characterized by oval, shiny, pointed leaves with a cuneiform base and a bushy and rounded port.

Slowly growing, Rhododendron Apricot Nectar can enjoy its splendid and impressive bouquets in mid May. Indeed, it gives orange-pink flowers edged with a slightly more edged border, always grouped in terminal clusters at the ends of the twigs, the latter have 5 raised petals which give them this form of funnel.

Rhododendron Apricot Nectar is easy to maintain. It can be grown in isolated, in pots or in clumps with other heather earth plants to form beautiful colored sets. Very hardy, it has the ability to withstand harsh winters of up to -21 ° C. Like all species of Rhododendrons, Apricot Nectar needs heather and well-drained soil. It can also grow very well on clay-silty soil. Its favorite location is partial shade or shade but tolerates the sun if it is regularly watered.
