Prunus Domestica Reine-Claude d'Oullins, a very productive early plum tree.
The Prunus Domestica Reine-Claude d'Oullins, or Plum Oullin's Golden Gage, is an old variety of plum tree very vigorous and resistance to diseases, self-fertile, it is an excellent pollinator for other plum trees around. However, for more abundant fruiting, it is best to plant it with other varieties of Reine-Claude for cross-pollination. Another advantage of this fruit tree: very fertile, it offers a high production of large fruits.
In March, the Prunus Domestica Reine-Claude d'Oullins is covered with white flowers and fruits begin to form to mature in July. The harvest is spread from July to August. The plums Reine-Claude d'Oullins, yellow-green with a touch of pink on the side exposed to the sun, have a very juicy flesh, sweet and fragrant. They are ideal for making jams or preserves. But you will appreciate them just as fresh or on a pie.
Very hardy (cold-resistant down to -20 ° C), the Prunus Domestica Reine-Claude d'Oullins adapts to all climates and enjoys a sunny exposure. It can be placed in windy area because, even ripe, its fruits do not fall. It is planted in a draining soil, light and rich. Adult, it reaches a height of 2 to 3 m.
The proposed plants are grafted low-stem on a rootstock: Saint Julien A.

Très satisfait
Colis reçu rapidement et très bien emballé. J’espère que ce jeune arbre deviendra rapidement un beau sujet mais trop tôt pour le savoir étant donné que l’arbre est très jeune et toujours dépourvu de feuilles vu la saison.
