The Gaura Lindheimeri is a real asset to any garden. This perennial native to the United States owes its name to the German explorer and botanist Ferdinand Lindheimer. This one is easy to grow.

The white flowers are preceded by pink flower buds, they are starry with four petals and provided with long stamens, gathered in spikes on long 60 cm stems, they bloom from late spring to early autumn. All of these flowers swaying in the wind are inevitably reminiscent of small white butterflies, these, very melliferous, attract a multitude of foraging insects. It should be noted that by removing faded flowers as you go, you encourage the production of new flowers. This will allow you to extend the flowering period to 6 months.
