Description
The Astilbe Astary rose is a perennial plant native to North America. Very decorative with its finely cut foliage, purple at bud break, it turns dark green. From June to August, the Astilbe Astary rose enjoys a generous pink bloom in feathery panicles.
The Astilbe likes partial shade and humid locations such as undergrowth or the edge of a pond. Easy to grow, Astilbe Astary rose adapts to all soils as long as it is moist and prefers acidic soils. It is resistant to negative temperatures from -15 ° to -20 ° C. It grows to 30 cm high and 40 cm wide and has a bushy habit.
