The Hamamelis intermedia Orange Beauty or Orange Beauty Witch Hazel is a refined shrub that catches the eye in winter with its original colorful flowering but also in autumn with its orange to fiery red foliage.

In January and February, bare wood is adorned with magnificent, deliciously scented flowers, with long, thin and tousled petals reminiscent of a spider, in orange tones, surrounding a red heart. This winter blaze is followed by deciduous green foliage, slightly bronze in summer, which takes on magnificent autumnal colors, in shades of yellow, orange and red.

The Orange Beauty Witch Hazel, with a flared funnel-shaped port, reaches a height of 3 m and a width ranging from 3 to 4 m. Excellent hardiness, it supports temperatures down to -20 ° C. Plant it preferably in acidic, well-drained soil rich in humus. Choose a bright spot but not in the hot sun.

It does not require particular to be cut. Favor an isolated exposure, so your Hamamelis intermedia Orange Beauty will make you fully enjoy its winter flowering and its fall colors. The show is guaranteed!
