Virginal Mock Orange – Philadelphus virginalis 'Virginal'

Origins and characteristics

Native to Southern Europe and Asia Minor, it belongs to the Hydrangeaceae family. Cherished for centuries for its sweet jasmine‑like fragrance, it is often called “Poet’s Jasmine” for its romantic appeal.
