Vanhoutte spirea is a horticultural hybrid between Spiraea cantoniensis and Spiraea trilobata. It belongs to the Rosaceae family, like roses and hawthorns. Its graceful arching habit and exceptional floribundance make it popular in both traditional and modern gardens.
