Sophora japonica, native to China, is a shrubby plant with a magnificent flowering in August. The flowers open in the form of creamy white panicles, very melliferous and very fragrant, making this majestic tree in the middle of summer. The foliage of Japanese Sophora is very thin, the leaves are dark green and consist of 7 to 17 leaflets.

In addition to its beauty, Sophora japonica is renowned for its resistance: it tolerates temperatures up to -29 ° C and can be planted in a very urban environment given its high resistance to pollution.

With its rapid growth, the Japanese Pagoda Tree can reach 25 meters high and 10 meters in diameter. It can be planted in all types of soil and has no special maintenance requirements.
