Garden use

Caryopteris 'Hint of Gold' is perfect for:

  • Dry beds and sunny spots
  • Rock gardens and banks
  • Container growing on terraces and balconies
  • Mixed borders to extend summer flowering.
  • Protection against diseases
  • Naturally resistant to diseases and pests
  • Only fears heavy and poorly drained soils which can cause root rot

Tips for good development

  • Must be planted in full sun for vibrant colours
  • Mulch lightly to limit evaporation in summer, without covering the base
  • Do not over-enrich the soil to avoid excessive foliage at the expense of flowering

Caryopteris × clandonensis 'Hint of Gold', thanks to its striking foliage, nectar-rich flowering, and compact habit, is a gem for dry gardens, rockeries, and modern terraces.
