Présentation détaillée

The Acer Opalus or the Italian Maple is a small tree found in the mountains of south-eastern Europe until 1900 meters above sea level, this maple is perfect in small gardens, because it is slow growing and has a rather bushy port thus integrating into a bottom of shruberry with the peculiarity of tolerating the calcareous soils.

The Acer Opalus likes sunny situations, drought periods do not bother him too much, in Italy it is used as an alignment tree.

In autumn the trilobed foliage of this small easy-growing tree becomes golden yellow.
