Abies nordmanniana, better known as Nordmann Fir, is native to the Caucasus. This conifer is particularly distinguished by its harmonious pyramidal port and its regular branches arranged in stages. Its needles are persistent, supple and not pungent, a beautiful deep green silver lapel.

The Nordmann Fir can be planted in the garden where it will bloom in mid-shade, in a fresh soil, deep and rich in humus. It should be watered regularly during the months following planting. Abies nordmanniana is very hardy, tolerant of summer drought and can withstand temperatures of -30 ° C in winter. In summer, the Abies nordmanniana will be adorned with a multitude of brown-reddish cones, very decorative.
