Native to China and Mongolia, Caryopteris × clandonensis is a horticultural hybrid belonging to the Verbenaceae family.
The 'Heavenly Blue' variety is prized for its compact habit, long flowering period lasting until October, and its decorative foliage with silvery undersides.
