Présentation détaillée

The Ficus Carica Précoce de Dalmatie, a fruiter with two fructifications in the season, with large fruits.

Native to Asia and Turkey, the Ficus Carica Précoce de Dalmatie or Fig tree Precoce de Dalmatie is a rustic fruiting shrub at weak development(with an adult height of 2.5 m and a width of 2 m), ideal for small spaces and potted culture. Very resistant to cold (-15 to -18 ° C) and the humidity of winter, it will adapt perfectly to your area if you place it in a sunny and sheltered from the wind.

A self-fertile variety, Fig tree Precoce de Dalmatie fruit twice (it is bifère). The first time in July, it gives yellow-green figs that grow on the twigs of the previous year and the second time, in September and October, it produces many fruits with green skin, pear-shaped , with bright red flesh and sweetness, which they develop on the wood of the year.

To appreciate all its flavor, you will taste the Précoce de Dalmatie nature and ripe but you will also consume dried or in jam. It will accompany with pleasure the plates of charcuterie or cheese, foie gras and meats (pork, goose or duck). You will be full of vitamins enjoying these fleshy fruits, very sweet and rich in fiber.
