The Plum tree Goutte d’Or, also known as Coe’s Golden Drop, is a heritage English variety producing large golden-yellow plums with a distinctive drop shape. Grafted as a low-stem tree, it offers sweet, juicy fruit in early September and acts as a good pollinator thanks to its mid-early bloom.

Geographical origin: Suffolk (England), selected by Jervoise Coë around 1800. Reintroduced in northern France.
