Magnificent variety of spindle with compact and bushy habit, Euonymus japonicus El Dorado® or Japanese Spindle Tree El Dorado® native to Japan as its name suggests, will brighten your garden in any season thanks to its very bright evergreen foliage of golden yellow color. Small in size, it will not exceed 0.60 m in height in adulthood for a width of 0.25 m, it is ideal for arranging small spaces and lends itself particularly well to container culture.

Not very fragile, the Euonymus japonicus El Dorado® supports negative temperatures down to - 25 ° C and is not afraid of heat either. Undemanding, it accepts most soils if they are well drained and cool, located in the sun or in the shade. It requires little maintenance, if not a slight pruning in early spring to perfect the shape.

Bright and elegant with its gold-colored foliage, Japanese Spindle Tree El Dorado® will bring light all year round to your garden, whether it is planted in isolation or in groups. You can combine it with other shrubs with colorful foliage to define a border or with perennials plant in a bed. It will not go unnoticed, installed in a container on your terrace or balcony.
