Hibiscus syriacus Starburst Chiffon, a very decorative shrub.

The Hibiscus syriacus Starburst Chiffon or Rose Mallow Starburst Chiffon is a beautiful and very decorative shrub, with an upright and well branched habit which stands out for its long and generous flowering. From the end of July to the end of September, it offers large semi-double flowers 10 cm in diameter in shades ranging from white to pale pink, streaked with carmine pink and with a crumpled creamy white heart. These contrast beautifully with the brilliant green foliage.

The Hibiscus syriacus Starburst Chiffon reaches 2 m in height for a spread of 1.50 m, very nice effect when mixed with other flowering shrubs forming hedges. Hardy to -20 ° C, it settles preferably exposed to the sun or partial shade, in any type of soil, cool, well drained and rich in humus. It is a shrub which supports pruning very well. You can shorten it at the end of winter or at the end of March by cutting the stems to 2/3.

The Rose Mallow Starburst Chiffon is a safe bet for the decoration of your garden or your terrace, it will fill you with the beauty of its flowers throughout the summer whether it is planted in isolation, in a bed or in a hedge .
