Description
The Yellow gooseberry is a small, fruitless, more or less thorny fruit native to Europe, with many yellow currants 1.5 to 2 cm in diameter in the summer with a sweet taste, unlike the red currant bush. It does not form clusters, but its fruits are individual, they are used in jelly, jam, dessert, pies ...
The Yellow gooseberry is very vigorous, resistant to cold weather and is very resistant to powdery mildew.
To plant in all soils, it has a preference for a sunny situation where it will fruitfully grow, but supports a slight shade.
To plant in isolated or in formation of greedy hedge every 80 cm.
